In an E3 interview, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima revealed that the fifth game in the series will have downloadable missions created by other players. It will also interact with handheld devices like smartphones/tablets and the PlayStation Vita (for the PS3 and PS4 versions).
He also confirmed that Metal Gear Online will make a comeback with MGS5 and they are currently hard at work developing it.
An open world MGO with horses? Hellz Yeahz.
The interviewer also pointed out to Kojima that with MGS5‘s timeline, Solid Snake would be about 12 years old in this time and the fact that Solid Snake was a child soldier. So when asked about the younger Snake’s possible inclusion in the game, Kojima, put on the spot, just laughed and said, “If we said anything right now it would be a spoiler and bad for the fans, so we’re going to stay away from that question.”
