Awesome VG Music for the Day: Falcom’s jdkBAND

2 1365

Falcom’s jdkBAND has been serving up awesome arrangements of classic tunes from games such as Dragon Slayer, Y’s and Sora no Kiseki since 2007. Here’s a quick video of the boys and girls bringing down the house with a medley of tracks from the yet-to-be-announced-for-English-release Ys: Foliage Ocean in Celceta (PlayStation Vita). Make sure to check out their other work on the related videos, and if butt-metal pleases you, don’t forget to pick up any of their albums out there. I highly recommend FALCOM vs. jdk BAND 2010 SUMMER for the novice listener.

Oh, and don’t even ask what “JDK” even means. Like all anachronistic Japanese acronyms, multiple interpretations have been given; such as “Digital Kids Jumping” or “Japan Dynamite Kid.” NOBODY KNOWS.
